2010 Recycling Pick Up Calendar


Refuse & Recycling Pick Up Schedule (for all residences except multi-unit buildings of 8 units or more):

Refuse--

Tuesday--north side of Highway 62 and Vista Terrace

Friday--south side of Highway 62

For pick up of large items contact Bruin Waste Management: (800) 559-2149.

Recycling--

Every other week on your regular pick-up day

Bins are provided by Bruin Waste Management or the Town.

Billing is included on water and sewer bills. For billing questions call (970) 626-5308 x10.

Curbside refuse and recycling program instructions, allowables list, and large-item fee schedule.

Yes! DO curbside recycle:

  • Aluminum Cans

  • Plastics #1 & #2 including milk jugs, pop bottles, detergent bottles, with the container mouth smaller than the base

  • Tin Cans #10 including domestic size, canned goods, coffee cans

  • Glass including beer, pop, wine bottles

  • Newsprint

  • White office paper and envelopes

  • Glossy print including magazines, junk mail (no plastic credit cards)

  • Corrugated Cardboard, limited to 5 medium sized boxes. Boxes must be broken down and placed UNDER bin.

No! Do NOT curbside recycle:

  • Pie Tins or Aluminum Foil

  • Plastic Bags, Plastic Sacks, or Trash Bags

  • Paint Cans or Large Commercial Cans

  • Window Panes or Candle Jars

  • Books or Phone Books

  • Colored Paper including construction paper

  • Pressed Cardboard including cereal boxes, 6/12 pack cardboard, or milk/egg cartons
