NOTICE AND SCHEDULE OF REGIONAL HOUSING AUTHORITY ACTION PLAN WORKSHOPS and CANCELATION OF REGULAR MEETINGS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the established monthly meetings of the Regional Housing Authority from February through May 2009 are cancelled and the following meeting dates, times and locations are scheduled. The following meetings will consider an action plan to achieve Affordable Housing within Ouray County. Public participation is encouraged. All meetings will be held in 2009 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM, unless otherwise noted on the following dates:
Friday, January 23rd in the Ridgway Town Hall at 201 N. Railroad Street Friday, February 13th in the Ouray Alpine Bank at 917 Main Street Friday, March 6th in the Ridgway Town Hall at 201 N. Railroad Street
Friday, March 20th in the Ouray Community Center at 320 6th Avenue
Friday, April 17th in the Ridgway Town Hall at 201 N. Railroad Street
Presentation of Plan: Wed, May 27th 5:30PM Ouray Community Center 320 6th Avenue
Regular monthly meetings on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 5:30 in Ridgway Town Hall at 201 N. Railroad Street will resume in June.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Ridgway Planning Commission will hold a PUBLIC HEARING in the February 24, 2009 at 5:30 p.m., to receive and consider all evidence and reports relative to the application described below:
Application: Conditional Use Permit to provide in home day care
Location: 205 N. Charlotte Street
Zoned: Historic Residential (HR)
Applicant: Helen and Patrick Beecher

NOTICE AND CALL OF ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE RIDGWAY TOWN COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Ridgway Town Council adjourned their regular meeting of February 11, 2009 to an adjourned meeting to be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 commencing at 6:30 p.m. at Ridgway Town Hall, 201 N. Railroad Street, Ridgway, Colorado.
Said meeting shall be for the purpose of entering into a closed session to prepare the annual performance evaluation of the Town Manager.

SEASONAL JOB OPENINGS
The Town of Ridgway is currently accepting applications for two seasonal job openings:
Parks Open Space Maintenance – May 1 through Oct 31 - 40 hours a week, no benefits.
hourly wage - $13.00 per hour
To perform maintenance and tree care in open spaces and rights of way throughout Town, including planting and landscaping, pruning, tree removal and miscellaneous labor; seasonal abatement of noxious weeds within the Town boundaries, utilizing non-toxic herbicides; general maintenance and repairs of trails, parks, recreational fields, parks facilities and municipal buildings. Drivers license required.
Parks Maintenance Worker – May 1 through Oct 31 - 40 hours a week, no benefits
hourly wage - $13.00 per hour
To perform general maintenance in parks including turf care, planting and landscaping, irrigation, trash pick-up, restroom maintenance; maintenance of recreational fields, park facilities and municipal buildings; miscellaneous labor. Drivers license required.
